QLD: A scattering of storms is likely during the day and evening across very broad areas of multiple states but more localised in NSW and southeast QLD. In the adjacent fainter red shaded area in southern WA, localised storms are possible but with a lower chance. Some of the storms in central and inland southern QLD as well as the far northern interior of NSW and northwest interior of SA are likely to become severe with damaging winds and large hail.
